This project was Design/Build. A & S was Engineer of Record. We provided mechanical engineering design for the project. The project was completed in 2018.

Mechanical Commissioning for the Avalon Bay of Walnut Creek. This is a 418 apartment complex and retail on the Ground level. The complex consists of Block “A”, Block “B” and Block “E”. Block “A” and Block “B” each is consist of segment 1 and segment 2.  This project is LEED certified.

Mission-Bay-South-Block-9-Rendering-Look

Mission Bay South Block 9

Mechanical Engineering Services for Mission Bay South Block 9. The site is a flat, rectangular 47,437 square foot lot located in the Mission Bay South Redevelopment Area on the western portion of Block 9. The project is sited between China Basin Street to the south and Mission Rock Street to the north. The east side of the project site is bound by Bridgeview Way, a private street that will be accessible to the public. The design and construction of Bridgeview Way is a part of the Block 9 project scope.

Mechanical and Plumbing Engineering Design Services for a new mixed-use development located in Emeryville between 65th & Hollis streets.  The development will include a 4-story town home residential complex, a 2-story parking structure, office spaces, and retail.  In this project, we were working directly for Pulte Homes Corporation.

Bay View Hill Gardens

San Francisco, CA

Bay View Hill Gardens formally known as 1075 Le Conte Avenue apartments, is a part of the affordable housing development financed through The Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) and Mercy Housing. It is a supportive five story building  for unhoused families and youth aging out of foster care. A & S ENGINEERS provided mechanical and plumbing  engineering design for the project. We coordinated with the Architect, Contractor and other consultants to design all of the mechanical systems for the project, including air conditioning and exhaust fans. This project was California 153 Greenpoint rated and won the A|A Housing award in 2015.

Clinton Commons Apartments

Oakland, CA

Clinton Commons is a new construction affordable housing building. It has earned both the Bay-Friendly Rated designation for its sustainable landscaping and LEED Platinum certification for its green building features. A&S ENGINEERS provided commissioning services and MEP engineering for this project. We reviewed the MEP drawings to provide review comments and prepared commissioning specifications to incorporate the design development and construction documents.

Affordable housing apartment unit rental community (a 55 plus community) A & S was the Mechanical and Plumbing Engineer for this project. Our roles included the design of all mechanical and plumbing systems, including water, sewer and natural gas systems.

Mountain Home Residence
Woodside, California

The Woodside residence project involved adding a new chilled water central plant. We were the Mechanical and Electrical Engineers of record. We provided schematic to construction document drawings for MEP disciplines.
 

Duboce Avenue Residence
San Francisco, CA

​

The Duboce Avenue Residence remodel involved construction of the lower floor to a single zone with consideration of making each of the 2 upper floor dual zones. The scope of work involved providing MEP fixtures and finished to the area of work as well as replacing gas furnaces with electrical heat pumps.

Asthana Residence
Berkeley, CA

​

This Single family residence renovation included demolition of the single story laundry room at rear and a new two story addition. The remodel also included to expand the kitchen and replace bedroom with new family room at first floor. The approximate square foot of area was 6,348. We are actively working on this project.
